• In 2014, Chris achieved an unofficial UK record when he drove 887miles, from John O’Groats to Land End in an electric car in 26hours, beating the previous time set in a Tesla by 4 hours. Convinced his own time was beatable, after a short break, he turned round, drove back, and beat it by 2.5hours.

• In 2016, Chris set out to test the European EV charging infrastructure, by driving 2551miles from Edinburgh to Monte Carlo and back in under 60hrs. A feat made more challenging by the fact he was driving the first generation BMWi 3 with a 60mile range. He accomplished this challenge with over 2hours to spare.

• In 2018, swapping four wheels for two, Chris smashed the Guinness World Record for the longest distance covered on an electric bicycle in 12hours when he completed 177.81miles, breaking the previous record by 67miles.

Along the way he held talks sustainability talks with WWF and UN Environmental Agency, and inspired Kazakhstan to adopt e-mobility and start installing electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the country.

In 2018, swapping four wheels for two, Chris broke the Guinness World Record for the longest distance covered on an electric bicycle in 12hours when he completed 177.81miles, breaking the previous record by 67miles. A feat made even more astonishing by the fact that he was only able to fit in 5 hours of training in the lead up the record.
