Since winning her first cookery competition at the age of 15 Mich Turner has become a world-renowned Cake designer, award-winning entrepreneur, international best-selling author and key influencer in the Bakery Industry.
She is the founder of the hugely successful Little Venice Cake Company she started in 1999 after working as a Patisserie Buyer at Harvey Nichols. She is a qualified Food Scientist and Nutritionist. Mich appears regularly on our TV screens with BBC Royal Recipes, Saturday Kitchen and as one of the two judges on the hugely successful series of Britain’s Best Bakery for ITV, nominated for Best Daytime in the National TV Awards.
Mich is a key advisor in Bakery Industry and is an ambassador for Create and Craft and Scottish Bakers Association who made her a Life Member at their recent 125 anniversary celebrations. She acts as a consultant to select companies and oversees the Little Venice Cake Company brand with her range of bakeware, tools, afternoon tea fine bone china and instructive tutorials.
